Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and PDF2CSV, operated by Peggy (
1. What the service is
PDF2CSV is a web application that converts bank statement PDFs into CSV files. The conversion runs locally in your web browser; your documents are not uploaded to us. The service includes the web app, the marketing site, and the account, subscription, and licence-verification systems behind them.
2. Your account
You sign in with an email address or a Google/Microsoft account. You're responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You must provide accurate information and be able to enter a legally binding agreement.
3. Licence — one user per subscription
A subscription (or trial) licenses one person to use the app. You may use it on multiple devices, but the account is yours alone — please don't share logins. If your team needs access, each person needs their own subscription.
4. Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full functionality and no payment details required. When it ends, the app stops converting until you subscribe. One trial per person.
5. Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Your purchase is made from Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment itself; these terms govern your use of the app. Prices are shown tax-inclusive. Charges appear on card statements as PADDLE.NET*.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime from the app's account area; access continues to the end of the paid period and you won't be charged again. The free trial is provided so you can evaluate the service before paying; subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. See our refund policy for details.
7. Acceptable use
Use the service only for lawful purposes and only on documents you're entitled to process. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, resell it, or circumvent licence verification. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
8. Your data and output
Your statements and the CSVs you export stay on your computer and belong entirely to you. The small amount of account and usage data we do hold is described in the privacy policy.
9. Accuracy — please review your output
PDF2CSV works hard to extract transactions correctly and cross-checks results against your statement's running balance, but no parser is perfect and statement layouts vary endlessly. You are responsible for reviewing exported data before relying on it. PDF2CSV is a conversion tool; it does not provide financial, accounting, or tax advice.
10. Service changes and availability
We aim to keep the service available and continuously improved, but it's provided "as is" and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. The app tolerates being offline for up to about a week between licence checks. We may change features over time; we won't remove core functionality you've paid for mid-period.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law — where such rights apply, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the amount paid, at our option.
12. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we'll note the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of
